The overarching intention for all that I do is to bring people together through the art of compassionate touch.
Touch has the power to communicate all the things that words aren’t good at, and yet often times we need to re-learn this idea of maintaining a meaningful touch-vocabulary.
Yes, part of my work is aimed at educating people on human biology and the physical forms of Thai Massage. But another, larger dream of mine is to ensure that as a culture, we become more touch-literate. I hope to dissolve the culturally engrained habits that have been spread out of the fear of touch. Touch-aversion goes against our deepest biological needs and so it continues to take us further and further out of balance. With greater education and with greater skill in compassionate touch we can return to a far healthier state, and a far more interconnected tribe.
I founded Navina™ as a way to spread this message and these teachings as far as possible – bringing people together from all corners of the globe. With each course I teach I attempt to pass on as much detail and intricacy as I possibly can, as it relates to both the nuanced physical postures of Thai yoga therapy, and the incredible power and of compassionate touch.
I’d love to meet you along this path!
Every element of my practice is driven by a passion for helping people use physical movement to foster more vibrant health. There is an intricate connection between our physical body, mind, and spirit, which is often overlooked as we go about our day to day lives. With this in mind, my goal is to help people from all walks of life become more mindful of how movement and compassionate expressions of touch can positively impact their lives.
Although my educational lineage lies in Kinesiology and Holistic medicine, I’ve found that the true value of this knowledge is only seen when applied with a compassionate mindset and a mindful approach to touch.
Through contributing to Navina’s curriculum and teaching students from various personal and professional backgrounds, my hope is to continue sharing this philosophy with people all around the world. Whether it is through hands-on treatment, or teaching others how to use Thai Yoga Therapy within their own communities, I am honoured to share the true potential of therapeutic movement and compassionate touch!

Hello! My mission is to help people return to balance so that they can live their most empowered life. I use the tools of Thai Massage and Reiki to facilitate the restoration of equilibrium. For me yoga really began 7 years ago when a friend of mine recommend it as her “saving grace” while we were in university. I was tackling a double major, working as nanny AND as a freelance photographer- I yearned for stillness, a place where the rise and fall of my chest reigned supreme!
Flash forward to the present day, I have been practicing yoga for the past 5 years and teaching since last spring. I proudly received my YTT 200-hour certification last March through Karma Teachers Yoga and Meditation College, based out of Vancouver. Upon completion of my teacher training I knew that I wanted to focus on Holistic therapy & bodywork as a career and wanted to incorporate massage as a healing modality. My research lead me to Navina™ Thai Yoga Therapy; their school was the piece that was missing. I began broadening my knowledge as body worker and received additional training as Reiki practitioner and will be working towards Ayurvedic medicine and movement therapy to bring healing from the earth inward.
As you are, take a deep & wild breath.

The idea of touch has many different meanings for me; one of them is how it can connect people. I have explored and continue to explore the many different ways of connecting with people in this modern age.
I began this exploration through yoga, my practice allowed me to connect to my body in a way that I had never experience before. I felt the movement, my strength, my muscles, my flexibility and lack there of, all in a new light. I was an active child through sports and dance that continued into my adult life, yet I didn’t have a connection to how my body really felt and how it worked; or what it took on through the years of supporting me, and how things felt from the inside out. My newfound body awareness was exciting!
A number of years back I was at a yoga festival and was introduced to Thai Yoga Massage. I had received a variety of massage and bodywork therapies at this point and nothing compared to this. During that workshop I was convinced that with yoga and Thai massage I had found everything my body needed to feel good and that I had found another practice to deepen my internal and external connection; also I really enjoyed giving this massage. The seed was planted and I wanted to practice Thai Yoga Massage.
Through this practice I have discovered the benefits of how this holistic body of work connects people. Not only to their own bodies, but through the foundational principle of Metta Bhavana – “loving kindness” or “compassion.” As a practitioner and Navina™ educator my intention is to share this idea of connecting with yourself and with others through compassionate touch. Let me, along with our community, touch your heart, your mind, and your soul.
It’s not just a massage or a course you’ll receive with us, it’s a life experience! One we hope touches the world through you.
I look forward to sharing our time together,
