Course Overview:
Step | Description |
---|---|
0 – The 4-1-1 on Feet |
Understand why it’s so important to do this work, and learn the links between the feet and knee and low back pain in particular |
1 – Mobility | Before we can get into the strength work, we have to facilitate greater movement of and within the foot. Included here are instructions on your initial movement program. |
2 – Strength | Here’s where we start to build true intrinsic support in the foot. This is the stuff that will help to reduce the risk of future injury (including but not limited to plantar fasciitis). |
Note: if you have a bunion/hammertoe and the deviation of the halux is greater than 35 degrees, then alternative methods of rehabilitation will need to be employed and you must seek additional council from your podiatrist before participating in this tutorial.
Too often we underestimate the importance of healthy feet. Many of our pain-syndromes can be linked to the feet and dysfunction within them. This tutorial is designed to get to the root of these issues and gradually begin to re-establish healthy feet – which the vast majority of us were born with, we’ve just lost it over time. This online course is a resource that will keep on giving, as long as you commit to a regular practice of the techniques and exercises contained within.
