|1 – Introduction to Savasanahhh||Meet Drew, get an overview of the course, the modules and dive right into the Foundational Principles of Thai Massage|
|2 – Posture Essentials||A series of 8 videos where selected restorative asanas are broken down, set up and then we add in one massage technique in each scenario. The technique delivered is one that can be used on basically everyone that comes to class. We’ll add more later, but these are essential to your toolkit. The asanas explore a full sequence from Ardha Padmasana all the way through to Savasana|
|3 – Extended Techniques||We know that once you start using the tools in the Tutorial 2 series above you’ll be hooked, so we’ve gone and added a few more really practical and incredible techniques that can be used in each of the asanas we have gone through. This means that we can service different people in different ways based on their needs in class. It creates a really unique experience for all participants who come to your restorative class. There are 7 more videos to go through in this section.|
|4 – Extra Materials||This is a bit of bonus material where we talk about the next steps for using these awesome techniques and tools – whether it’s in workshops or in regular classes and the associated considerations. We’ve also provided a few simple posture sequences for you to use whilst you’re focused on getting familiar with your touch techniques.|
The way that you touch others plays an instrumental role in their class experience and your overall relationship with them. Not only does this online video course equip you to run specialised workshops, it also profoundly influences your regularly scheduled classes. As yoga teachers, we often might want to approach hands-on assists and adjustments in other classes, and we can say from experience that this course has the added benefit of increasing your overall comfort, confidence and skill in compassionate touch in all situations.
